Each party has its own questions. Useful ones and less useful ones. You question yourself or ask someone else. That is no longer nessecary, because that is what this post is for! Ask the questions you have and come back later to see whether new information has been added.
Q. What is the best way to come to the party?
A. Use public transport, walk or come by bicycle. Tram/busstop Nieuwe Plantage is closest, but train and OV-bicycle or walking will also work. In case you come by bicycle I ask you to park at the canal and not at my house.
Q. I will come by car. Where can I park?
A. At the Paardenmarkt you will find a paid parking lot for visitors. Free parking is available at the other side of the Schie river, which is a 15 minute walk.
Q. What do I wear?
A. That is up to you, there is no theme. Do bring a sweater against the cold and check the weather forecast. Stiletto heels are not allowed inside because of possible damage tot the new floor.
Q. What gift will Anke appreciate?
A. Good ideas can be found on the wish list. Succesful gifts are alcohol and coffee beans (the strongest ones available). Or you can give her a gift card from IKEA or HEMA. Gifts she will appreciate not so much are chocolate, flowers and house decorations.
Q. Can I sleep over?
A. Yes, that is possible, if you notify me through email. Do bring your own sleeping gear. In the neighbourhood are also B&B options available which have an actual bed and reliable breakfast facilities.
Q. How long is the renovation going to last?
A. This question has been asked many times, but has now become irrelevant. Read the whole story.
Q. What will you do with all of that time available, now that the renovation is finished?
A. No idea! Especially now that Boris is no longer around I have no more purpose in life. In case you have suggestions, please write these down here.
Q. Can I bring someone to the party?
A. Yes ofcourse, please notify me because of catering purposes. This can be done by using the sign up form.
Q. Can I add music to the playlist even if I have an abnormal taste?
A. Yes certainly. Deviant taste is the best when it comes to music, risking that you might end up having new friends during the evening.
Q. In in invitation is says “bring some warming elements”. What are warming elements?
A. Well it is a housewarming after all, so be creative and bring things that could warm up the house.
